InvisiHinge for Sheerline Prestige Doors
Sheerline in partnership with Ingenious Locks & Hardware have launched a concealed hinge. This allows for a totally flush finish on Prestige single and French doors enhancing the overall aesthetics.
The InvisHinge is precision engineered for a flawless user experience and features a built-in restrictor, so the movement of the door can be controlled for added safety. The reinforced design improves security and there is no plaster line encroachment.
As the new hinge is not visible, it is only supplied in black and it’s easy to install and fully adjustable once in place. Due to the clever design installers can lift the door off and leave the fixings in place, simply by removing two screws, simplifying installation and maintenance.
A fourth hinge can be added at stress points to improve durability without impacting the look of the door.
300mm Cill
Sheerline has launched a new 300mm cill that is compatible across their range. The launch comes in response to a growing demand for extended cill options, driven by evolving construction techniques.
The 300mm cill is ideal for situations where SIP panels or external insulation increase the window reveal depth, as well as where aesthetic upgrades, such as rendering, add extra depth.
Cruciform Option for Classic Windows
Sheerline has expanded the range of styles available for its Classic Heritage Door and Classic Windows, with the launch of the Classic Cruciform Kit. The kits allow for cross-shaped bars to be fabricated as part of the frame, adding versatility to these ranges and allowing for consistent styling.
The Cruciform Kit is ideal for new cottage-style installations or where you need to replace cottage-style windows with a similar design.
New Grille Shroud for Better-Looking Ventilation
Sheerline’s Prestige Grille Shroud provides a stylish alternative to exterior plastic trickle vents which can warp over time and fade in the sun. Finished to perfectly colour match the frames it blends seamlessly with the window, delivering an architecturally refined yet highly practical solution by concealing the flat aluminium grille that sits under the shroud.
Unlike traditional trickle vents, the Prestige Grille Shroud spans the full width of the window. This enables the integral head drip to protect the edge of the sash that sits below.
