Sheerline’s Prestige Aluminium Bifold Doors
DRS supplies fully fabricated Sheerline Prestige Bifold Doors to trade installers, builders and glazing professionals across the UK. Manufactured to order at our Mansfield factory, Prestige Bifolds combine slim aluminium sightlines with excellent thermal performance, robust security and installer-friendly features.
Available in configurations of up to 7 panes and widths of up to 6.5 metres, Sheerline Prestige Bifold Doors can achieve U-values as low as 1.0 W/m²K with triple glazing. A choice of four threshold options, Fast Connect pre-gasketed beads and glass adjusters fitted as standard help make installation and on-site adjustment straightforward.
With a choice of standard and bespoke colours and technical support available when required, DRS provides a complete trade supply solution for Sheerline Prestige Bifold Doors.
Sheerline Prestige bifold doors are a versatile option for residential new-build, renovation and extension projects where large glazed openings, slim sightlines and good thermal performance are required.
For trade installers, the range offers flexibility across a wide variety of projects, from smaller three-panel bifolds to large openings with configurations of up to seven panes. Traffic door options can also provide convenient everyday access without opening the complete bifold.
With a choice of standard, low and ramped threshold options, configurations can be tailored to suit the requirements of the individual installation.
FEATURING THERMLOCK® TECHNOLOGY
Featuring a sleek and modern exterior, the innovative Thermlock® multi-chamber thermal design is cleverly hidden, ensuring properties remain well insulated against the challenging UK weather. These insulating chambers function as a thermal break and, when combined with high-performance glazing, deliver superior thermal performance that far exceeds that of conventional polyamide thermal breaks.
SLIM SIGHTLINES
The super slim sightlines offer a minimalist look that matches the rest of the Sheerline range. The doors have a 138mm sightline between sashes, that creates a balanced look. The custom designed single rollers eliminate the need for floating mullions.
BUILT IN SECURITY
Featuring a 5-point locking system along with double deadbolts and optional PAS24 upgrade, the Prestige bifold has been designed to keep homes secure. With full-length security interlocks on appropriate styles, these bind the sashes firmly together if attacked by an intruder.
QUICKER, EASIER INSTALLATIONS WITH FAST CONNECT
The Fast Connect Hybrid Bead removes the need for wedge gasketing – designed to speed up installations and remedial site visits.
THRESHOLD OPTIONS
The doors feature fully weather-sealed rebates ensuring doors aren’t over-centred during operation. The integral cill and ramped low thresholds use unique, one-piece end caps which also act as frame jointers, saving time, and incorporating concealed drainage.
Flat bottoms on all thresholds also allow for easy installation, manoeuvrability, and storage.

DOOR HANDLES
For the finishing touches our Ultion lever handles bring a curved form to the traditional lever door handle. The door handles are available in an attractive range of colours, with fixing centres between 211mm and 122mm. They are also reversible so they are non-handed.
Security and appearance are equally important, which is why as standard we install 2* handles. The handle offers incredible security from drilling and lock snapping, won’t be crushed by mole grips and the fixings thread through hardened steel bosses to stop twisting.
