
This week, DRS is celebrating eight years in business — a milestone that reflects not just our growth, but the loyalty and trust of our customers and partners. Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey so far.
Since opening our doors in 2017, DRS has steadily built a strong presence in the aluminium fabrication industry, earning a reputation for delivering high-quality products, dependable service, and support. What began as a sister company to Future Products, under the leadership of Dennis Thorpe (Chairman), James Cardno (Managing Director), and Paul Redman (Operations Director), has evolved into a dynamic and forward-thinking business.
In 2021, we moved into larger premises to accommodate increased demand and lay the foundation for further expansion. Today, we employ a team of around 45 to 50 staff, delivering our products to trade professionals, installers, developers, architects, and contractors across the UK.
Our journey began with SupaLite roofs — the inspiration for the DRS name — before expanding into Eurocell SkyPods. Responding to demand we introduced Cortizo bifold doors, followed by a growing portfolio that now includes sliding patio doors, Heritage, French and single doors, aluminium windows, roof lanterns, rooflights, conservatory roofing systems, and commercial aluminium doors.
Recently, we took another exciting step forward with the launch of our new showroom, giving customers a hands-on experience of our product range. Our showroom also allows our trade customers to present solutions directly to their customers.
